Sunday School is every Sundays at 9am. Come join the fun and learn about God. The teen youth magazine, Higher Things, is no longer in print. Please go to higherthings.org for further information & Video Shorts. Higher Things is on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, & hosts weekly podcasts. We are requesting volunteers to serve has Acolytes. The only requirements are that you are in 4th grade or higher and can reach the candles. The only requirement is wanting to serve the Lord. Please come anytime and enjoy our Christian fellowship. CHURCH NEWS Dear members of St. Peter's, “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” —Psalm 118:24 While the threat of Covid-19 is not over, we will once again be able to gather in God's house to receive His gifts. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! We have resumed Sunday morning services at 10:00am. Bible classes are at 9:00am. (starting in September) There will be some changes in order to comply with safety guidelines.
We have resumed the regular Communion schedule of the first and the third Sundays of the month. In Christ, Pastor Nathan P. Many thanks to all who provided food and helped to serve at our recent funeral dinners. Your service is greatly appreciated. Diane will be working on the 2022 Church Directory. Please contact her if your family has had a change of address, phone number, or changes in your family statice. If you are willing to assist mowing the church property, please contact Jeff Daniels (812-910-0300) so he can schedule volunteers in the spring. Thank you. The Lord’s Warehouse is accepting donations of household items, new or gently used infant to adult size clothing and food. If you would like to help those in need you can do so by bringing your items to the parish hall and placing them in the specially marked baskets located near Diane’s office or you can bring them to the Lord’s Warehouse in Monroe City. They are open Wednesday’s from 9am - 12pm or Saturday’s from 10am - 12pm. Monetary donations are welcome also and can be placed in the “white church” in the narthex of the church.
